Pacific West Oriental Selections packet including seafood dumplings and vegetable bunsThese are the fastest dumplings I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The seafood dumplings and vegetable buns went from frozen, to piping hot, to inside my tummy in approximately two minutes.

The instructions recommend nuking the dumplings in the microwave in the packets provided. The cooking process included an exciting-sounding explosion. This certainly impressed Pat, who was roped into an evening of dumpling reviewing. It adds a certain edge to a meal when it sounds like your food is attacking.

The explosion didn’t harm the dumplings, but I thought they did turn out a little dry. But to be fair, as Pat said, you can’t complain for a dumpling ready to eat in a minute and a half.
